Special Scholarship for Elite Sports Persons Scheme

The Special Scholarship for Elite Sports Persons Scheme provides need-based assistance to sportspersons who have the potential to win medals at the Olympics and other international competitions. The scheme provides financial assistance of up to Rs. 30.00 lakh per person per annum. Currently, the following 27 elite sportspersons are receiving assistance under this scheme.
